Device for detecting leakage of pre-insulated pipes

Given that pre-insulated pipelines are equipped with signal wires along their entire length, it is possible to place the pipeline under continuous remote monitoring. Each pre-insulated pipeline must be placed under a stationary continuous remote monitoring system, in order to timely detect breakdowns and malfunctions on the signal wires and thus prevent the spread of fluid penetration through the insulating mass. The pre-insulated pipeline leak detector MSD8970E is an electronic instrument that is used for permanent leak detection, as well as for checking the placement and connection of signal wires for pre-insulated heating pipes (systems). The device is designed for stationary installation, is connected to signal wires and fluid flow pipe and performs continuous monitoring of three alarm states:

• Leak detection on pre-insulated pipelines,
• Detection of breaks on signal wires,
• Detection of a short circuit between the fluid flow tube and the signal wire.
